Well done to Germany and their coach

I WAS glued to a television at the Boardwalk when the World Cup final went to extra time. I was still convinced that Germany would win the game against Argentina.

However, let me be the first to also applaud Argentina as they were the underdogs but put up a very brave performance.

This is the kind of World Cup final that you expect. The referee was well in control of the game and both goalkeepers were in good form and made brilliant saves.

All the spectators were entertained by both teams and maybe Bafana Bafana should learn from the Germans as they kept their coach for 10 years. Hence the team performed well, as he was building the team of the future.

Well done to Germany and their coach.
