EC premier's term starts with an error

APPROXIMATELY 10 days ago a large number of posters were attached to many traffic signposts in Adelaide. They were all the same, and very neatly and efficiently advertised that premier Phumulo Masualle would be delivering the state of the province address at 11am on June 27 at the Lingelethu Community Hall, Adelaide.

Most of those advertisement posters were suddenly removed early last week.

In The Herald's edition of June 27 an article appears wherein it is set out that the address was to be at the Bhisho Legislature. That is understandable.

If the first duty of the new premier is botched, with the waste of money caused thereby, what prospect is there that, in the coming five years, there will be an effective and error-free administration? No such prospect, if judged on this evidence, exists.
