Gyrocopter crashes near Patensie

MEDICS are on their way to an accident site near Patensie where a gyrocopter crashed this afternoon. According to officials on the scene, the pilot has sustained serious burn wounds.
“The gyrocopter crashed in the mountains and people are there assisting the pilot,” a farmer on the scene said.
“It is madness at the moment and ambulances are on their way.”
The gyrocopter was working on a project aimed at dropping sterile moths on orchard farms in the area. - Gareth Wilson
