Bay medic robbed while treating 12-year-old boy

A metro medic was robbed today while treating a 12-year-old boy for shortness of breath.
The ambulance stopped in Aries Street, Gelvandale and the medic was treating the boy when a gunman approached the medic and robbed him.
The medic was not injured.
This marks the latest in a series of attacks against medical personnel working in the Bay.
