BMW claim back to haunt Williams

Prosecutors have received a docket from police, probing metro spin doctor Roland Williams for fraud.
National Prosecuting Authority regional spokesman Tsepo Ndwalaza said the matter had been referred to the head prosecutor at the specialised commercial crimes branch, advocate TC Goosen, for a decision on whether or not to prosecute.
Investigations are not yet complete.
Williams is accused of staging an accident to claim a payout of nearly R100 000 from Santam in August last year. Williams ’s lawyer, Kuban Chetty, said yesterday they could not comment on the matter as Williams had not yet been informed of a docket being opened.
