Police hunt armed gang of robbers

PORT Elizabeth police are searching for six armed suspects who are on the run after robbing a finance house in North End yesterday.

Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said five men entered KND Finance pretending to be customers at 9am.

"They demanded money and cellphones."

Janse van Rensburg said a sixth suspect was waiting in a white BMW used as the getaway vehicle.

"They fled with an undisclosed amount of money and cellphones."
