'Old Boys will be boys'

THE saying "boys will be boys" is sure to ring true this weekend when more than 200 former pupils of Uitenhage's Muir College Boys' High School celebrate its 192 years of existence with a host of sporting and other social reunion activities.

The school, which is the oldest English medium in the country, will have former pupils from all over the country and world descending on its premises once more for the Founders Day assembly to be held tomorrow morning.

There had been an air of excitement at the school as past pupils, some of whom have not seen each other in as many as 60 years, eagerly secured their spots in the event-filled celebratory weekend.

Two former pupils are flying in from the US, while another is coming in from Australia. -
