BRUCE Steele-Gray, the charter president of the Rotary Club of Kenton-on-Sea, has been appointed as assistant governor for the new District 9370 for the 2013/14 Rotary year.

On July 1 this year, the Rotary District 9320 (which includes the Rotary Clubs of Grahamstown, Kenton and Port Alfred) will merge with the KwaZulu-Natal District 9320 to form a brand new District 9370.

"This will be an enormous district covering just under 4000km² and including 102 clubs with over 2100 members,” said Kenton Rotary public relations officer Brigid Mackay.

Steele-Gray will be responsible for liaison with the two Grahamstown clubs and those of Kenton and Port Alfred.
