Gqeberha swimmer Amica de Jager devastated after being left out of Olympic squad despite qualifying
Top open water swimmer Amica de Jager, from Gqeberha, has been left out of the SA Olympic squad despite posting a qualifying event in Doha earlier in 2024.
Competing in the 10km open water race, De Jager, 24, finished in a time of 1:58:38:60, one minute 11 seconds behind the winner, to record the best time for any SA swimmer competing in the event for 17 years...
