A BOARDWALK Hotel supervisor detailed yesterday how she was allegedly sexually assaulted by a Kenyan businessman who was staying at the hotel while he attended a conference in Port Elizabeth in January.

However, proceedings were brought to a halt when the woman broke down after the defence pointed out several inaccuracies in her version.

Daniel Koech, Kenya country sales and marketing manager for Coca-Cola Sabco, pleaded not guilty yesterday to one count of sexual assault.

It is alleged Koech, 35, touched the 32-year-old woman inappropriately and propositioned her for sex while she attended to a complaint in his hotel room during the early hours of January 31.
