Big names to visit region

SEVERAL ANC leaders, including party deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa, will be knocking on Eastern Cape doors this weekend as the campaign season hots up.
Ramaphosa will be doing door- to-door campaigns in Nelson Mandela Bay on Saturday and Sunday along with members of the national and provincial committees including Pallo Jordan, Sibusiso Ndebele, Lindiwe Sisulu, Tony Yengeni and Zizi Kodwa.
Secretary-general Gwede Mantashe will be doing door-to-door campaigns in the OR Tambo region, ANC national chairwoman Baleka Mbete will be in Buffalo City, Zweli Mkize in Joe Gqabi and deputy secretary-general Jessie Duarte in the Sarah Baartman region. – Thulani Gqirana
