Deon Oliver is hoping his hours of training will pay off
Port Elizabeth darts aficionado Deon Oliver is hoping his hours of training pay off when he pulls on the green and gold of South Africa to compete at an international competition later this year.
Oliver, a member of the Ibhayi Darts Association and president of the Eastern Cape Province Darts Federation, said it was a major honour to represent his country at the AUR 5 Championships in Malawi.
“I have competed internationally, but as an individual South African player, not as part of a team, so in that sense I am very proud to represent my country at the championships.”..
