Madibaz back on top of Pefa PL

VODACOM NMMU Madibaz and Hearts regained their position at the top of the Pefa Premier League just a week after losing it.

Forresters, who went into the weekend at the top of the log on goal difference, lost 1-0 to Madibaz at their South campus on Friday.

Across at Londt Park, Callies sneaked home 3-2 against Central Acemates.

After a goalless draw, goals by Jonathan Hop Hing (2) and Cleavon Draai saw Callies cruising to an easy win.

However, with 15 minutes remaining, Acemates staged a fight-back and in the end were unlucky not to get a share of the points.

In the curtain-raiser Callies Reserves lost 2-1 to Acemates.

Warriors, who were tied with Forresters at the top of the log, drew 2-2 with Highbury.

Hearts joined Madibaz at the top of the log when they beat Motherwell Academy 1-0.
