Dodgers prepare to paint the city red

DODGERS can wrap up the Nebfa Sedgars Premier League soccer title at the Chevrolet Stadium on Sunday when they play Boast Pirates.

With two matches remaining, the log leaders have a six-point lead over Red City, who have a bye this weekend.

Roaring Tigers, who are third, a point behind Red City, have a tough match against City Lads, while Stinging Bees, also in contention for third spot, should have an easy game against Amakhosi, who cannot avoid relegation.

All the matches will be played at the Chevrolet Stadium.

The fixtures are:

Tomorrow: 10.30am City Defenders v PE Sundowns; noon Amakhosi v Stinging Bees; 1.30pm City Lads v Roaring Tigers

Sunday: 10.30am Black Stars v Eastern Jumpers; noon CCX Callies v Bush Bucks; 1.30pm Boast Pirates v Dodgers; 3pm Winter Rose v Real White City NUBS and Dynamos will battle it out for the Zafa Premier League title this weekend.

With two matches remaining, Nubs have a two-point lead. They play Dynamos at the Wolfson C field tomorrow. Romans have a difficult match against Seven United at the Dynamos field on Sunday. If they win their remaining matches, United could finish third.

Young Professionals, who have an outside chance of spoiling the party for both Nubs and Romans, play tailenders Golden Brothers.
