Callies still searching for first win

CALLIES will be hoping to score their first win of the season when the Pefa league programme resumes after the Easter break tomorrow.

The Londt Park outfit, who will host PE Homerovers, drew their opening match and lost 2-0 to Forresters before the break, while Rovers had mixed fortunes.

The match between Hearts and Forresters at the Lawson Brown High School sports fields should be a humdinger. Both teams are unbeaten after two matches.

Forresters have been in devastating form and will fancy their chances of making it three wins in a row.

In the third match of the evening, NMB Municipality play Warriors at the Westbourne Oval. In their last match, Municipality were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Hearts, while Warriors scored a comfortable 2-0 win over defending champions Central Acemates.

All the matches start at 8.15pm, with the corresponding Reserve League matches starting at 6.15pm.

On Saturday, the pick of the matches should be the clash between Highbury and Vodacom NMMU Madibaz in Bridgemead. Last time out Highbury beat Homerovers 4-2 while the students drew 1-1 with PE Defence.

All the Premier League matches on Saturday start at 3.30pm with the Reserve League matches at 1.45pm.
