No animosity between Kings and Lions: Nell

DESPITE the teams being locked in a bitter Super Rugby promotion battle last season, there is no bad blood or lingering hostility between the Southern Kings and arch-rivals the Lions.

That was the word from Kings captain Darron Nell and the team's acting head coach, Robbi Kempson, as they looked ahead to what could be a fiery friendly at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tomorrow.
Asked if there was any animosity between the sides, Nell said: "I do not think last year's games have any relevance. We have a whole new set of goals that we want to achieve at the Kings.
"There is no purpose in looking back. We know where we want to go in the future and we started that process against the Cheetahs last week. Now we will continue against the Lions."
