City manager feud — if it wasn’t so sad it would be a joke
April 1. A day we are on guard as jokes and pranks abound for April Fool’s Day.
A quick Google search suggests the English popularised the tradition in 1700, but there are indications that the day might have its origins as far back as the 1300s. ..
