Go-ahead given for big Bay clean-up

The Nelson Mandela Bay municipality will be committing R120m over the next three years towards cleaning up the city – a project which is set to create more than 400 jobs.

This comes on the back of a flurry of complaints from residents about the state of the metro and poor standards of cleanliness in the city’s townships and northern areas, which have deteriorated significantly in recent years...
