‘Bhanga Bus’ to campaign throughout Eastern Cape

A ‘Battle Bus’ is the latest addition to the DA’s campaign for control of the Eastern Cape after the 2019 general elections.
The bus, which is branded with a South African flag and a picture of DA provincial leader and premier candidate Nqaba Bhanga, is set to journey the entire province in hopes of clinching enough votes to take power from the ANC.
In September, the party announced Bhanga as its Eastern Cape premier candidate.
Bhanga said the bus would carry a message to the people of the province.
“This bus will help me reach each and every corner of the Eastern Cape and reach each individual.
“I will be in areas such as Ngquza, upper Transkei, and I will be crisscrossing the Eastern Cape going to the rural homes.
“We will be reaching the outskirts to get to listen to them and also to learn from them,” Bhanga said.
“I want to reach the neglected people and I will meet all stakeholders, the youth, rural and traditional leaders.
“It’s treasonous what the ANC has subjected the people of the Eastern Cape to because of poor governance.
“We will take over the Eastern Cape and fix poor governance under the ANC. We are also encouraged by the growth of the DA in the Eastern Cape by winning by-elections.”
Bhanga is set to visit Humansdorp on Tuesday and Cradock at the weekend.
