IPTS veers off course with longer waiting times

The Integrated Public Transport System (IPTS) has been plagued by longer waiting times on the Stanford route as the number of available buses has decreased because the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality allegedly failed to pay a contractor to replace tyres.

The municipality also missed its deadline to open a second route operating in Kariega by Friday, threatening the viability of the tax-funded bus system...
