The Gqeberha high court heard allegations yesterday detailing how a suspected cop-killer hung out the window of a taxi he had hijacked in Motherwell, and opened fire at police with the service pistol he had seized from an officer he shot just an hour earlier.
A little while later as the wounded suspect was being transported to Livingstone Hospital, he allegedly told the paramedic who was treating him he was “sorry for shooting a police officer”...
