Smooth sailing at Portuguese club voting station

The voting station at the Portuguese club, in Summerstand, is running like clockwork.

Presiding officer Sibongile Williams said they opened on time with no issues.

"All the machines are working and everything is going well," she said. 

About 400 people are in the queue waiting to vote.

A total of 4938 people are registered at the polling station with about 800 having already voted by 9:30am.
