WATCH LIVE | Timothy Omotoso trial resumes in Port Elizabeth

Day four of the Timothy Omotoso trial in which the charismatic Nigerian pastor faces a litany of charges kicked off with the defence cross examining state witness Cheryl Zondi.
A confident Zondi, 22, repeated most of her testimony from last week telling defence counsel Peter Daubermann for Omotoso and his co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho on at least two occasions that she was repeating her answers.
Zondi said she was 13 when she joined the Jesus Dominion International church in Secunda.
In 2010 at age of 14 Zondi went to a national meeting of the church where she was impressed with Omotoso’s preaching and musical talents.
It was during her second trip to Durban that Zondi was allegedly sexually assaulted by Omotoso in his bedroom at a house in Umhlanga Rocks.
Omotoso and his two co-accused, Lusanda Sulani, 36, and Zukiswa Sitho, 28, face 97 charges in total among them, ranging from sexual assault to rape and human trafficking.
The trial continues.
