A 27-year-old man died last night after he was attacked by two pitbulls while walking in a street in Algoa Park.
The attack was confirmed by eyewitnesses, who said Ruaan Redgard was attacked by the dogs at about 10pm.
Another man, who lived with Redgard, was also attacked when trying to help his friend. At this stage police are unable to confirm the details of the attack.
