Mandela musical

A MUSICAL about Nelson Mandela's life will be held at the Nelson Mandela Museum on July 18, his birthday.
The African opera was created by Unathi Mtirara, the grandchild of Mandela's cousin, Justice Mtirara, and will premiere at the State Theatre in Pretoria tomorrow before moving to Qunu.
Mtirara, chief executive of Opera SA, said he would be engaging with the Eastern Cape Arts Department to help take the opera to other areas, possibly Port Elizabeth and East London. – Poliswa Plaatjie
