Bay friends tackle Everest together
IF there is one thing two Nelson Mandela Bay friends have known since they were little, it is that they want to live their lives out of the ordinary.
That wish came true when Gladwyn Jackson, 54, and Tyrone Baatjies, 52, of Schauderville, made history as the first from their neighbourhood to take on the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest.
