Somalis flee as looters rampage

TERRIFIED Somalis in Port Elizabeth were forced to flee yesterday after New Brighton residents went on the rampage, burning and looting shops, following the fatal shooting of a teenager.
Three Somalis were attacked with pangas and sticks.
Seven men have been arrested for public violence.
The family of the 19-year-old shooting victim has called for calm, urging people not to take the law into their own hands.
Lunje Ntongana was shot dead, allegedly by a Somali shopkeeper, during an argument about airtime.
