Power up with a smoothie bowl

Smoothie bowls were all the rage in summer and with the arrival of spring they are sure to be on social media feeds around the country.
Firstly, what is a smoothie bowl?
It’s basically a thicker, heartier smoothie which you eat with a spoon after you have decorated it with pretty, healthy ingredients (and taken a few pics to share on your Instagram feed).
It is often made with super foods and is a good way to get in all those extra vitamins and minerals.
It is also a good way to finish up the last bits of fruits, nuts and seeds you need to finish off.
For mine, I went with a four-ingredient berry and beetroot smoothie.
Ingredients

1 frozen banana
1 small tub of plain yogurt
1 handful of frozen blueberries
1 heaped dessert spoon of beetroot pulp
Topping: granola, chia seeds, sesame seeds, kiwi fruit..
