MyPond Hotel wins award

Last week at the Lilizela 2016 Eastern Cape Provincial Awards Event held at the Hemingway’s Hotel in East London, MyPond won the 2016 Lilizela award in the Hotels category for best 4 Star Hotel. MyPond Hotel General Manager Sisonke Mapuma was at the ceremony to receive the award. “It is a great honour to receive this Lilizela award for the best four-star hotel. It is a great privilege to be able to work with the Stenden South Africa students and together we have a great partnership that allows us to be able to offer the very best service to our guests,” she said. Every year the Lilizela Awards recognise and reward tourism players and businesses who work passionately and with pride to deliver a world class product and service and whose delivery grows South Africa’s global destination competitiveness. Members of the public vote for their choice of nominee’s on both a provincial and national level in each category. The Lilizela Tourism awards give national recognition to establishments and raise their profile both here at home in South Africa and around the world too.
