Curves changing women's figures

Before the big move to their new premises, Curves Greenacres has once again partnered with fellow women-only franchises Curves Uitenhage, Walker Drive and Figtree to offer 25 female readers of The Herald free gym membership and discounts for one whole month and an additional Curves Complete membership to one lucky reader.

When they move to new premises in Fourth Avenue Newton Park – only 500m from the current location in Second Avenue – Curves Greenacres will still be the place where women of all shapes and sizes can go to shed those unwanted kilos in a supportive environment. The gym offers both cardio and strength training, in a workout routines of just 30 minutes and with the attention of a full time coach.

Proud gym-owner Tony Bennett said being the “health fanatic” he is, he opened the gym two and a half years ago and has seen the number of members grow from zero to 300 since Curves Greenacres was established.

“In two and a half years, we have grown enormously and we have changed the lifestyles and figures of numerous women,” Bennett said.

So to start the competition this week, Curves Greenacres in offering one free Curves Complete three-month membership and 10 fitness memberships, which give the winner free access to the club for one month. In addition, other branches of the national franchise in and around the metro also are offering prizes: the Uitenhage, Walker Drive and Figtree clubs are each offering five fitness memberships.

One La Femme reader will win the big prize of a Curves Complete membership, which includes a combination of right exercises with a meal plan and a one-on-one coaching to maximise fat loss and rev-up your metabolism.
