Top band's tour of SA postponed

MEMBERS of rock band 30 Seconds to Mars have postponed their upcoming South African tour due to a private medical issue.

The band, which is fronted by Oscar winner Jared Leto, was set to perform two shows in South Africa next month.

But concert organisers Big Concerts said yesterday the band would now only perform in South Africa in November.

The new dates are November 21 at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg and November 23 at Grand West Casino in Cape Town.

It is unclear what the medical issue is, or even which of the band's members has been affected. – Bianca Capazorio
