East Cape choir faces elimination

AN EASTERN Cape choir competing in the Clash of the Choirs competition might find themselves packing their bags this Sunday.

The choir, headed by award-winning Eastern Cape singer Simphiwe Dana, is in the bottom two of the TV competition.

Last week the choir performed Busi Mhlongo's Yehlisan Umoya ma-Afrika, a song they hoped would take them out of the bottom two, but unfortunately that did not happen.

The Eastern Cape group remained bottom alongside the Limpopo choir, which is headed by Malaika's Tshedi Mholo.

This Sunday's episode will be the first elimination.
