Zedstock music festival in Redhouse

Riverfront village will be singing on Sunday December 23

The annual Zedstock music and art festival will make the riverfront village of Redhouse sing on Sunday afternoon December 23.
The concert will be held on the banks of the river at the Zwartkops Rowing Club at 52 Tow Path and the organisers hope that it will stretch into a family sundowner concert.
Musicians already on the lineup include Redhouse resident and guitar magician Dave Oldham, Jon Alien – “local reggae boss and funny man” formerly known as Jon Allen – piano maestro Megan Smith, the “judge and the dodger", Sister Act and others.
“Local musicians and artists from all around PE will join us on our stage and families are invited to come and participate in our family drumming circle, starting at 3pm,” said co-organiser Tine Joubert.
“As our venue is located on the riverfront, it’s a beautiful setting for a picnic and sunset viewing! Braai fires will be lit for those who want to braai and there will be a cash bar open. Please, no private liquor.”
Scottish born strings player Peter McAinsh, who now lives in Malawi, will also join the local musicians.
