The Boardwalk’s annual Sparkler and Christmas Carols evening is on Friday December 14 from 7 to 8pm.
This festive season event helps to raise funds for local charities.
Guests are invited to light up the skies with a sparkler or a lighter and then watch the colourful Boardwalk Fountain show and join in singing Christmas carols.
Popular Port Elizabeth group the Scheubles will lead the singing and there will be other entertainment as well during the evening.
The annual Sparkler and Christmas Carols event is always a spirited and heartening occasion, drawing more than 1,000 members of the community.
Sparklers and lighters will be on sale at R20 each from the retail office at the Second Avenue entrance from 4pm and all proceeds will go to charity.
People buying sparklers will also be entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win prizes.
