Opera benefit concert for SPCA Uitenhage
Akhona Nkumanda and Liske Hemingway among the Nelson Mandela Bay artists to perform
Nelson Mandela Bay opera singer Liske Hemingway and her friends will host an opera benefit concert on Wednesday, November 28 at 7pm at the NMU South Campus Auditorium in aid of the SPCA Uitenhage.
Akhona Nkumanda, Lara Potgieter, Charlandi Hattingh, Andy Matima and more will join Liske in Christmas at the Opera for Animals.
A small donation of money, food, blankets, cleaning products or other useful item will get you through the door.
SPCA’s mission is to prevent cruelty and the abuse of animals, educate the public about animal welfare, and promote awareness of problems of animal cruelty.
The organisation does not turn any animal away and is available 24 hours a day for rescues and emergencies.
SPCA does not get government funding and relies on the generosity of the public.
