Christmas in the Home back at Walmer Park

More than 130 stallholders over four days of shopping

The Bay’s Christmas in the Home market is from Thursday, November 29 to Sunday, December 2 at Walmer Park Shopping Centre.
Coordinator Elsje Smuts says that with more than 130 stallholders, it is the city’s largest Christmas market and it is expected to draw around 8,000 visitors over its four days.
The seasonal gift and craft market will once again turn the basement parking garage of the Walmer shopping centre into a Santa’s workshop filled with present ideas ranging from home décor, toys, boutique-style clothing and accessories to deli treats.
Smuts said the organising team at Trueblue Communication and Events was looking forward to presenting the 17th edition of the market and that visitors could look forward to a number of previously unseen and out-of-town stallholders.
Christmas in the Home hours are:Thursday 9am to 5pmFriday 9am to 7pmSaturday 9am to 5pmSunday 9am to 2pm
Entry is R20 per person and is free for children younger than seven.
