Lucas to grace Garden Route

Craig Lucas, the 2017 winner of SA singing competition The Voice, will be performing along the Garden Route this weekend.
Lucas will perform at the Bravo Lounge in Mossel Bay on Friday at 8pm. Tickets at R120 are on sale at Computicket.
He then performs at The Barnyard in Plettenberg Bay on Saturday. The show starts at 7pm and tickets are R120.
After his win on the TV show, Lucas released a debut single, I Said This, which rose to the No1 spot on iTunes.
He soon followed up with another hit, titled Smother, which, just like the first song, achieved #1 on iTunes upon release, as well as his #1 hit latest offering Hearts Exposed.
The video for Hearts Exposed was released last week and is aptly named as the singer recently came out as gay in a letter to the public, in which he shared his innermost fears and hopes.
When he entered The Voice, several people who were close to him had warned him to keep his sexuality secret in case he lost votes, he said.
However, this year he decided he wanted to reveal the truth, not only with close family and friends, but with all of his fans and the general public as well.
Since then, Lucas said he had been overwhelmed by the support he had received from many people – and would like to show his gratefulness by giving his all in his shows along the Garden Route.
