Tales of the Sisterhood at ArtEC

Panel of speakers for women's empowerment morning in Central

To mark National Woman’s Month, Buzz about Town Communication is hosting a women empowerment and lifestyle event, Tales of the Sisterhood, at ArtEC in Bird Street in Central on Saturday, August 25.
It will run from 11am to 3pm and also feature Nelson Mandela Bay disk jockey Sam “Miss Jay” Jennings, Weza Sonamzi of Weza's Hair and Andiswa Kota of Okuhle Beauty.Event organiser Njabulo Madlala said the brunch would feature inspirational women sharing their secrets to success and how they overcame their obstacles.
"The event will have a conference setup with stalls from a variety of female entrepreneurs in the Bay," Madlala said. "The point of this is to support female entrepreneurs in the Nelson Mandela Bay.“The guests are also urged to bring sanitary pads which will be donated to individuals who do not have access to them.”
Tickets for the event are R175 which includes food and drink.
