EXPORT FRIENDS: The Eastern Cape Exporters’ Club attended a plant tour and business presentation at FAW Vehicle Manufacturers SA in the Coega Industrial Development Zone yesterday.
While FAW’s plant manager, Shijie Liu, presented an overview of the factory, which started exporting to African markets in December last year, Exporters’ Club chairman Quintin Levey launched the Exporter of the Year Awards at the event.
The closing date for entries – for direct and indirect exporters as well as service providers to exporters – is June 5. Seen at the plant are, from left, FAW administration manager Haiyang Yao, Liu and Levey
