Winning NMMU plans on display

THE designs for two new Bay academic buildings will soon be on view.
The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) and the Eastern Cape Institute of Architects (ECIA) will host an exhibition on Friday to showcase the top five designs submitted for the two new NMMU buildings – the Life and Physical Sciences building on the university’s south campus and the B Ed Foundation Phase building at the Missionvale campus.
The two winning designs will be announced on Friday at the opening of the exhibition, which will run until next Friday at the Athenaeum Gallery in Central. The exhibition will also feature the unveiling of the new NMMU south campus Alumni House design.
