Viva Northern Sun
Malcolm Roberts writes: VIVA NORTHERN SUN Viva! I want to commend you on the first edition of the Northern Sun, a supplement highlighting the positive activities of the Northern Areas and its people. A move away from the constant negative challenges such as gangsterism, drugs, rape, gender violence, etc.
It is very pleasing to note that in your supplement you recognise our role-models of the past. What a joy it was to see my hero and now friend Hamma Burton being recognised, and the cherry on top, a photo of the Hotspurs of the past.
I want to appeal to the public to come forward with information and photos to assist with the portrayal of our "colourful” history and traditions.
To all involved with the first edition: You have set a very high standard, that I am sure you will maintain.
