U-13s draw thriller
ROWALLAN Park Primary School u-13A boys drew 14-14 with their Herbert Hurd counterparts in a thrilling rugby match earlier this month.
At half-time Rowallan Park were behind 14-7, but Simanye Jekwa scored a try which was converted by Tian de Kock to put them on level terms.
The following day Rowallan Park u-13B played Newton Park Primary on their fields.
The boys from Rowallan Park played an excellent game and ended up winning 36-10 after leading 26-0 at half-time. Jabulani Tshaka scored two tries for Rowallan Park.
On the same day the Rowallan Park u-11B team beat Newton Park 19-0.
