THE service delivery in the ward is a problem at the moment with many residents complaining they are not receiving any results.
I am struggling to get feedback from officials regarding matters, and often find that many e-mails must get sent to officials to get feedback on specific issues that arise in the ward.
Residents are becoming upset and frustrated, as the turnaround time is often lengthy.
It is often frustrating for councillors as well, as we would like to report back to our residents and often we can only tell them that we are waiting for a response from the municipality.
Unfortunately budget cuts remain a problem, and residents are not receiving services they are supposed to.
Meetings at council level are postponed quite often and matters are not being discussed.
Quality of the work that is being done is also being questioned by the residents who are worrying that it is costing more to do a job twice, than getting it done right the first time.
