Movers have SAB League in sight

FACING a double-header defending champions Ikamva Movers play NU29 United on Saturday and City Rangers on Sunday in the Mofa Premier League.

Movers got their 2012/13 campaign off to a flying start over the weekend thrashing newly-promoted Porto FC 5-1.

Club chairman, Frank Namntu, is quietly confident Movers will win the championship once again for a place in the playoffs for the regional Safa SAB League.

"Playing in the [SAB League] promotion playoffs earlier this year was a new experience and we did not know what to expect.

"This time we are determined to defend our Premier League title, and finish the job [winning promotion to the SAB League].

"The boys have been training hard and know what is expected.

"We brought in four new local players to strengthen the team."
