Education first for Barons

FOR the Baron family of five from Bridgemead, education is paramount and they do not believe there is a better alternative to set your life on the right path.

"We believe in continuously improving ourselves through education as it is an important cornerstone to being resourceful and dedicated citizens," Kupido, media management officer at Nelson Mandela Bay municipality, said.

The Barons enjoy spending time at home as a family, going to the beach or taking a trip to the Western Cape to visit their extended family. They last went on holiday three years ago when they travelled to Cape Town.

The parents love Port Elizabeth because of the beach and laid-back lifestyle and agree that it is an ideal place to raise children.

When the children are at home they enjoy playing soccer and cricket.

"The kids are always playing. They love to play indoors and outside. And if they are not playing soccer or cricket they play with our dog, Tyson."

Zubeida, an advertising consultant at a media house, described what each of the children are like: "Zaara is the most talkative of the three. She talks non-stop but can be quiet sometimes in the company of strangers. Our other daughter, Kaylee, is a very hard worker who always tries to please everyone. Then we have David, the entertainer. He loves singing and dancing.

"We tell them to always work hard, give respect to others and try to be the best."
