Questions were not in short supply at the media conference ahead of the last match of the West Indies tour of South Africa today, a one-day international at Centurion.

However, straight answers were not as easily had.

“I’m not bothered about South Africa,” Darren Sammy said.

“South Africa worries, let AB answer those questions.”

No doubt the gathered journalists would have asked them of AB de Villiers had he been behind the microphone. But De Villiers – along with Dale Steyn – will be rested today. So Hashim Amla turned up.

What did he think the Proteas’ weaknesses were heading into the World Cup in Australasia next month?

“I should ask the journalists; they generally pick those out,” Amla said.

Really be honest, from the time Gibbs dropped that catch,Alan`s suicide run at the end of crucial games the label “CHOKER” stuck and until the present squad get over that line the World Cup will always be one mile too long!
