Fairview Rovers and Callies continued from where they left off last week with easy wins in the SafaNMB SAB League.
Rovers, who thumped neighbours Hotspurs 4-1 last week, beat Ikamva Movers 3-0 after leading 1-0 at the break.
Joewa Jones opened the scoring from the penalty spot. In an even second half, substitute Waven Williams increased the lead when he scored from close range. Movers came back strongly but poor finishing was their downfall.
With less than five minutes remaining, William sealed the game when he scored from outside the penalty area after some good work by Bradley Meyer.
At the Zwide Stadium, Callies scored an easy 6-2 win over Peace United, who failed to reproduce the form which saw them score only their second win of the season.
The Londt Park outfit took an early lead with goals by Keenon Jacobs and Farouk Abrahams.
United pulled one back via the penalty spot. Abrahams then set up Orenthal Jordaan to make the half-time score 3-1.
United appeared to throw in the towel and Callies were guilty of squandering a number of easy chances before Darryn Bamboo made it 4-1.
Midway in the second half, United made it 4-2. Cleavon Draai then killed off the game with two good goals to make the final score 6-2.
Log leaders Young Ideas edged out Highland Spurs 3-2.
In the only other match played on Saturday, Island City and Despatch Pioneers drew 0-0.
