Chippa look to bounce back in Ajax clash

WINLESS in eight matches in all competitions, Chippa United will look to bounce back against Ajax Cape Town in a PSL clash at the Cape Town Stadium tomorrow.

In what could be seen as a seasondefining game, the Chilli Boys travel to the Mother City looking to exorcise the demons which have been troubling the team over the last few weeks.

After yet another first-round cup defeat, this time at the hands of first division side Natal United at the Wolfson Stadium last Saturday, Chippa were left to wonder how they could possibly end their bad run.

United went down four goals to two on penalties. Head coach Ernst Middendorp said it was a disappointing result for him and the team.

“Losing that game was really disappointing as we had numerous chances, but we just could not find the back of the net,” Middendorp said.
