Team determined to do well in club championship

PE police intend to give a good account of themselves when they clash with champions Rustenberg in their opening match in the Cell C Community Cup on February 21. Coach Zane Bosch said: “It really is a great honour to be able to participate in the Community Cup.”

Eastern Province’s other representative in the competition, Despatch, start their campaign with a match against Welkom Rovers.

Police president Danie Gouws said his team were playing a friendly against Varsity Cup team Madibaz tonight at the campus in the build-up to their opening match in the competition.
