Callies, Ideas beat Ikamva, Rovers

BOTH Ikamva Movers and Fairview Rovers failed to avenge their defeat in the Safa-NMB SAB leg of the Nedbank Cup in league matches on Saturday when they were beaten by Callies and Young Ideas, respectively.

Movers, who lost 3-0 in the cup game, were thrashed 7-1.

Joint log-leaders Young Ideas, who won on penalties in the cup game, scored a close 1-0 win over Rovers.

Island City, handily placed to overtake the front-runners, made heavy weather of their 1-0 win over struggling Showvillage United.
